We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings. The writings are what God intended us to have, but interpretation of the writings is where the room for conversation exists.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three embodiments: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the Cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God.
We believe that the Holy Spirit’s purpose is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and to convict, indwell, guide, instruct and empower people for Godly living and service as Christ followers.
We believe that men and women were created in the image of God, but fell into sin and therefore need the Holy Spirit to convict us so that we understand and accept the need for salvation.
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe and seek a relationship with Him.
We believe that the Lord’s Supper and Water Baptism are ordinances to be observed by the church. They are however, not the only two means of salvation.
We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons who seek God. A relationship with Jesus offers saving faith and with the Holy Spirit, we are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head.
LeRoy Community Church is a church that gathers together to celebrate the life that God has graciously given. The Pastors, the Ministry Team Leaders, and other resources, are provided so that a worshipful atmosphere is created.
Cultivating personal growth in Christ
LeRoy Community Church is a church that places emphasis on the personal and corporate growth of church family members as they seek to become mature disciples, who love and obey Jesus in all areas of life.
Communicating Christ to the World
LeRoy Community Church is a church in which the family members are actively seeking to share Christ within their sphere of influence and share the task of communicating Him to the world.
Caring for people in the name of Christ
LeRoy Community Church is a church that does its best to care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of its family members and friends, and attempts to meet the needs of others to the best of our understandings and resources.
